Matiz tortas (olive oil breads -both sweet and savory), Valenciano rice and seafood products are once again at PFI.

The olive oil breads are versatile and cracker-y.   Use the sweet ones with fruit compotes, ice cream and sorbets or just plain.  We carry the sugared ones (which are crusted with anise) and the almond ones.  The savory tortas are wonderful with soft cheese or as an innovative base for bruschetta-style appetizers.

Paella isn't paella without the right rice.  Matiz Valenciana rice is high-quality paella rice.  It comes in the traditional Valenciana variety as well as the "Bomba" Valenciana, which absorbs one-third more water than the traditional.  This means that it absorbs and holds more of the flavors you cook into your paella for a delicious result.

 We also welcome back Matiz canned octopus, which is an exceptional product that has been much-prized by PFI customers.
